Srikrishna to clash with Kadian in Junior Snooker Finals at the Manisha - Vascon National Billiards and Snooker Championship Rishabh Kumar of Maharashtra

Last Year Junior Asian Bronze Medalist S. Srikrishna of PSPB will clash with Digvijay Kadian of Haryana in Junior Snooker finals at the Manisha - Vascon National Billiards and Snooker Championship organized by BSAM and played at PYC Hindu Gymkhana Billiards room on Tuesday.

Digvijay Kadian of Haryana had a field day after winning back to back matches to make it to the final of the Junior Snooker event. After winning the quarterfinal round against Aadesh Kothari of Tamil Nadu in straight sets, Kadian cruises into the semifinal round to take on Aman Bansod of Madhya Pradesh. Kadian defeated Kothari with a  3-0(65-22, 68(62)-24, 69-34) score line. In the semis, Kadian defeated Aman Bansod 4-0(82-23, 107(107)-15, 69-43, 61-29) in the best of seven frames.
In the other semifinal S Srikrishna defeated Mumbai lad Sparsh Pherwani 4-2 through a break of 86 points in the fourth frame which took the match away from the opponent. Srikrishna lost the second frame in a close contest by two points as the score read 52-54. Pherwani got control of the third frame and won it 74-67 which got back his semifinal hopes. Srikrishna however won the fourth frame 93-00 which included a break of 86 points and got back the game into his control. In the decider frame, Srikrishna was class apart as he scripted breaks of 66 and 69 points and not let his opponent stand any chance to win. Srikrishna won the decider framer 125-03.
In the Senior Billiards Final Qualifying round Maharashtra’s Rishab Kumar outplayed Vijay Nichani from Tamilnadu  3-1(20-101(74), 101-86, 100(92)-98(98), 100-51, while  in all state clash Mahesh Jagdale edged out Shahyan Razmi 3-2(100(57)-62, 100-52, 88-100, 88-100, 100-84) and to make it to the  main draw.
