Himanshu Jain fires top break of 64 to tame Bagri 3-0 Himanshu Jain

Mumbai: Himanshu Jain made light of his low handicap of +3 and produced a terrific performance, which included an unfinished break of 64 en route to a commendable 3-0 victory against Anurag Bagri (+21 handciap) in a round of 32 match in the Matunga Gymkhana 9-Red Open Handicap Snooker Tournament 2017, which is sponsored and hosted by Matunga Gymkhana and played at the gymkhana’s billiards hall.

The Hyderabad-based cueist Jain started patiently and with the help of a couple of small runs managed to pocket the first two frames. That provided him the confidence to go for his shots and he exactly did that as he went on to compile an unfinished break of 64 to wrap up the match at 55-41, 55-27, 75-31. That break is now the highest in the competition so far after Siddharth Parikh had made a 48 in the previous round.
