Chadha, Badami in final
Ishpreet Singh Chadha of Khar Gymkhana and Hasan Badami of Islam Gymkhana set up the championship round, in the Matunga Gymkhana 6-Red Snooker Tournament.
National and state junior snooker champion Chadha prevailed over Hitesh Kotwani of PJ Hindu Gymkhana 55-16, 7-46, 60-25, 61-21, 54-17, 36-35, while Badami halted Nitesh Madan of Railways 52-0, 31-18, 42-1, 23-31, 23-13, 35-23 in one-sided semi-final encounters.
Chadha’s effort included an unfinished break of 46 in the fifth frame and a black ball finish in the sixth, while Badami raced to a 3-0 lead with a break of 52 in the opening frame and dominated the contest against a lukewarm challenge from Madan.
