Vishal continues to shine, constructs 76 points break Vishal Vaya

Mumbai, March 7: Vishal Vaya of Aquaria Club, Mumbai continued with his impressive run of form and constructed another sizeable break of 76 points as he went on to sideline Aashit Pandya of Dombivali Gymkhana by three frames to one in a best-of-5-frame second round match of the Rs 12.9 lakhs prize-money CCI All India Open Snooker Championship 2019, organised by the Cricket Club of India at the club’s Sir Wilson Jones Billiards Room.
The former junior Indian player Vishal, who had fired a break of 60 in his first round win against Shubham Randhe on Monday, maintained the winning momentum and quickly got down to business as he comfortably pocketed the first frame. But, he narrowly lost the second before taking the third to regain the lead (2-1). However, Vishal signed off in style stitching together a neat run of 76, which is better than young Shahyan Razmi’s break of 70 compiled on Wednesday.
