Match Format & Rules
Format:
Knock out ( Race to 200) . Being a complete Knockout Tournament, suitable handicaps will be given to the respective players. Handicap revision will take place at any point up until the Pre-Quarter Finals.
Rules for walkover:
If a player is more than 30 minutes late for the match it will be considered as walk over.
The MOBILE CLOCK is the official time keeper.
Dress Code:
Smart Causals up to Quarter Finals:
Round Neck T-Shirts, Torn Jeans, Cargos, Invisible Socks, Sandals /Slippers are strictly not allowed.
Semi Final and Final:
Formal Shirt / Collar T-Shirt with Formal Trousers and Formal Shoes & Socks.
All participants must adhere to the following dress code: Any participant who does NOT adhere to the above dress code will not be permitted to play their match.
DRAWS AND MATCH SCHEDULE:
All the draws and the match schedules will be put up on the website www.bsam.in well in advance. All participants must check the website for their scheduled match time and date well in advance. No participant will be notified of their matches, they need to CHECK the same on the above website. Matches once scheduled will NOT be adjusted and only the tournament committee will have the right to adjust matches as may be required.
Tournament committee has the rights to change the handicap of any player before their scheduled match, depending on their performance.
REPORTING TIME:
All participants must report for their match 30 minutes before their scheduled match time. In case the table, the marker and opponent is available, we can start the said match earlier.
DISCIPLINE AND DECORUM:
All participants are requested to maintain decorum in the Gymkhana premises. Any failure on the part of the participant or their gueststo maintain decorum in the Gymkhana premises will lead to an immediate exit from the tournament. All Participants are requested to play in the spirit of the game. Action will be taken against the Participant who Disrespects his Opponent or the Game in any way.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: BREAKS DURING A MATCH:
No tea or cigarette breaks are allowed in between the a match.
The decision of the TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE ON ALL MATTERS WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING.
