• 28th Feb 2020 is the last date for players who are keen to play but haven’t yet registered.

Tournament Dates:

Sept 3,4,6,7 remaining Round Robin league matches
Sept 9,11,- Quarter Finals

Sept 12 Semi finals

Sept 13 Final.


Guidelines for the Tournament:

1. All participants to show their certificate of having taken at-least one dose of the vaccine.
2. No spectators will be allowed to accompany any participant.

3. Masks will have to be worn by all participants until the match commences.

4. All other SOPS listed by the host club will have to be followed.


 

Dates: 2nd March to 17th March 2020
Last Date for entry: 28th February 2020 by 4pm

Eligibility:
• All players of Maharashtra domicile can participate.
• Leg 1: Players with a handicap of scratch or more qualify (as per the Billiards League 2019) can participate (fresh handicaps will be given to all players)
• The Quarter Finalists of Leg 1 automatically get entry in Leg 2.
• Leg 2: Few top players who are minus in handicap meet the quarter finalists of Leg 1 in the round robin stage.

Format:
Leg 1
• Race to 200 points till the Quarter Finals.
• Race to 250 points in the Semi Finals.
• Race to 300 points in the Finals.
• 64 or more entries are required for this Challenge to commence.
• The Tournament will be played with handicaps.
• BSAM tournament committee reserves the right to review & revise the handicaps before or anytime during the tournament.

Leg 2
• Maharashtra domicile players with minus handicap have direct entries.
• Top 8 of Leg 1 meet the direct entries in the round robin stage (race to 200 points).
• Two from each group qualify for the Quarter Finals (race to 200 points).
• Race to 250 points in the Semi Finals.
• Race to 300 points in the Finals.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony will be held after the final of Leg 2. It is compulsory for players to be present in person to collect their prizes or then the prize money will be forfeited.

As per the notification 194B of the Income tax guidelines TDS will be deducted on any prize money exceeding ₹10,000.

Walk over:
Any player late by 20 or more minutes is deemed to have lost the match.
Billiards room clock of the host club will be considered final.
The Markers decision will be final.

Score sheet:
The results must be sent to Mr Sachin Mali via What’s App (9773568058) or then by email (bsamtournaments@gmail.com). In order to allow the committee to review the handicaps, the opponents must ensure that breaks of 30 or above are recorded.

DRESS CODE
Collared t-shirts, Jeans, Sport shoes & formal attire are allowed.
Socks: High Ankle or Crew Length sock is compulsory. The socks must be distinctly visible.

Please note that proper dress code needs to be adhered to by the players visiting various clubs. Low waist jeans, trousers displaying undergarments while playing, Chappals, Sandals, Caps, playing barefoot, shorts, 3/4ths shall be strictly NOT ALLOWED. In case of any foot injury, the tournament committee shall make an exception to allow open footwear provided a genuine medical report or doctors letter is produced. A player shall not be allowed to play if the above dress code is not adhered to.
