.Sr Billiards State Selection 2021
Venue :Malabar Hill Club.
1. It is compulsory for every participating player to be fully vaccinated in order to participate in the event. Participants below 18 yrs will have to carry a Negative RT PCR test taken less than 72 hrs before their match. The requisite certificate needs to be sent to the BSAM email address along with the entry fees.
2. No player shall be allowed to play without paying the entry fees.

3. Matches will be scheduled from 10am in the morning with the last slot commencing at 4 pm in the evening.
4. Participants below the age of 18 years will have to produce an RTPCR TEST NEGATIVE report not less than 72hrs old before they play their match and will also have to repeat the test every 3 days as they go further in the tournament.
5. The Govt SOPS, dress code, BSAM guidelines & the Billiard rules for the state ranking event will have to be followed without exception.
All Players will have to wear Masks until they play their match.
LAST DATE OF ENTRIES FOR SR Billiards is Nov 14,2021 by 6 pm.
ENTRY FEES RS.2000/- per event.
NOTE: PLAYERS REGISTRATION FEES FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2021-2022 HAS BEEN EXEMPTED

Entry Fee: 2000/-
Depending on the number of entries received, the dates may vary +/- 2 days. Nov 17th will however be the date of commencement.
Kindly transfer the total amount & share the payment details via email (above mentioned) for reconciliation purposes.
Please Note:
BSAM should receive the email & the entry fee by the respective last dates. Entries received after the last date or without the entry fee and vaccination certificate will not be accepted/included in the draws.
Top 8 Basis previous years State selection ranking will be seeded in 4 groups of 4 players each subject to them giving their entries.
For the remaining slots there will be a qualifying knock out draw.
Players who were direct entries in the previous Nationals and did not play the state selection will be accommodated in the main draw.
Format:
Round Robin Best of 5 150 Up
( no smoking breaks will be permitted during the course of the matches)
Every player will be given only one break each during their match.
Top 2 from each group will qualify for the Knock out Stage Basis their Round Robin performance.
Knock out matches will be a Best of 5 150 upto the semi final
Final will be Best of 7 150 up
There will be a play off for 3 rd and 4 th place
Format : Best of 5 150 up.
BAULK LINE RULE WILL BE APPLICABLE.
There will be a play off for 5th 6 th 7 th and 8 th PLACE
BEST OF 3 150 up
Rules for walk over:
A person coming 10 mins late will loose one frame.
A person coming 20 mins late will loose Two frames.
A person coming 30 mins late will loose the match.
The Malabar Hill Club Billiard room clock will be the official and final time keeper.
Rules for Dress Code:
All participants must wear formal clothing for their matches i.e a formal shirt, formal trousers, socks and formal shoes will be permitted. Any participant who does NOT adhere to the above dress code will not be permited to play their match.
Draws and Match Schedule.
All the draws and the match schedules will be put up on the website www.bsam.in well in advance. The draws will also be put up at the Malabar Hill Club .All participants must check the website for their schedule match time and date well in advance. All participants must report for their match 15 minutes before their scheduled time. No participant will be notified of their matches... they need to CHECK the same on the above website.Matches once scheduled will NOT be adjusted.
Discipline and Decorum:
All participants are requested to maintain decorum in the club premises.
NO SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CLUB PREMISES:
ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUESTED TO PLAY IN THE SPIRIT OF THE GAME. STRICT ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST THE PARTICIPANT WHO DISRESPECTS HIS OPPONENT OR THE GAME IN ANY WAY.
The decision of the TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE ON ALL MATTERS WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING.
Kindly take note that Due to the pandemic there will only be one leg of the State Selections for the year 2021.
