BSAM AGM 2021

 
Dear All
The BSAM Managing Committee shall be having its AGM on Sunday 12th March January 2022 at 6 pm followed by elections thereafter at the Park Club Ltd, Keluskar Road No.9,Shivaji Park ,Dadar , 400 028, Maharashtra.

The Audited accounts for the period 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 were sent to all members.
Since no queries were received with regards to the accounts, only the statutory process of them being passed will be done at the AGM and no queries will be entertained on the accounts.
Agenda
1. To confirm the minutes of the previous AGM held on Sept 26,2019.
2.To pass the audited accounts for the year 2019-2020 and 2020-2021
3.To appoint the accountant and auditors for the years 2021-2022 and fix their remuneration.
4.To consider any motion, notice whereof is given to the Jt. Secretaries in writing by a member on or before 31 st December 2021
5.Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.
6.To elect the members on the Managing Committee for the posts:
a) President (I post)
b) Vice Presidents (2 posts)
c) Hon. Treasurer (1 post)
d) Hon. Secretaries (2 posts)
e) Managing Committee members (6 posts)

Eligibility to file nominations for the post of Managing Committee
The following members would be eligible to contest elections for the Managing Committee of the BSAM      
1. Any individual who has been a member for at least 6 months of the BSAM.
 
2. Any Billiards department member nominated by  a Club/Gymkhana who are members of the association.  The membership should be at least two years old and the arrears regarding Annual Subscription should be fully paid at the time of filing nomination.
Any person nominated from a Club/Gymkhana must submit their nomination form along with a letter on the clubs official letterhead signed by the President / Hon. Secretary of the institution clearly stating the post for which they are standing. The above letter should be submitted along with the nomination form.
 
 3. An individual can file nomination for a maximum of two posts for the Managing Committee.  However, by 6pm 8th January 2022 (final date of withdrawal) he/she should withdraw from one post.  Final elections have to be contested for one post only.Any person filing nomination for two posts and failing to withdraw from one post on or before  6pm 8th January 2022 would be disqualified from the elections.
 
4. All nominations must be received on or before 2nd Jan 2022 by 6:00 pm at the BSAM office.  The final date for withdrawing the nomination is on or before 6pm 8th January 2022.
 
All members interested in standing for the elections can send a request for the Nomination form which will be sent via email.
