Player Registration Guidelines
(Minutes dated as per 25th March 2018)
Billiards & Snooker Association of Maharashtra has conceptualized the Registration of Players. This registration will allow BSAM, the apex body of Cue Sports in Maharashtra to support its Players and to uphold the interest of the host clubs/gymkhanas/companies. This registration will aid in maintaining decorum among its fraternity, make all responsible & also accountable.
Registration:
1. The annual registration fee is Rs. 500/-.
2. Validity is from April 1st to the March 31st.
3. A Player can register at any time of the year but its validity will end on the following March 31st.
4. Life Members of BSAM also have to register by paying the annual fee in order to participate.
5. Only a Player of 60 years of age or more is exempted from the fee but needs to register in order to be eligible to participate in every tournament that is conducted under the aegis of BSAM.
Registration Implications:
1. Upon registration as a Player, he/she is permitted to participate in every tournament that is conducted under the aegis of BSAM in that financial year.
2. Upon registration as a Player, he/she is permitted to participate in any tournament that is not conducted under the aegis of BSAM. However, BSAM will not intercede in case of any dispute or disparity or discrepancy (on the format, seeding, prize money, walkover, dates, allowance etc).
3. A Player who disregards BSAM’s guidelines can/may be debarred from participating in any/every event/s under its auspices.
4. If a Player ‘plays’ a tournament that is under the aegis of BSAM without registering and then wishes to participate in the other tournaments under BSAM in the same financial year, he/she will have to first pay the registration fee & this fee will be Rs. 1000/- (instead of Rs. 500/-).
Registration Process:
1. The registration form is available online; needs to be duly filled, signed & submitted.
2. This form can be hand delivered or sent via courier or via email (via whatsapp is invalid).
3. Upon receipt of the said payment, BSAM will update its online Players list for easy referral.

2. Mumbai Snooker League
3. 6 Red State Selection & Championship (All Categories)
4. 15 Red State Selection & Championship (All Categories)
5. Billiards State Selection & Championship (All Categories)
6. Cue Sports League (Billiards & Snooker Premier League)
7. Any Open or Invitation or Handicap or Weekender Tournaments
State Selection & Championship will be played as per the Maharashtra Domicile Guidelines.
In the interest of the sport, BSAM reserves the right to review or revise or include or exclude guidelines as & when necessary.
