Match Format & Rules

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Entry Fee
Only those who have paid the entry fee shall be allowed to play. We shall/may ask for the payment
receipt once before your first match to verify so kindly keep the same handy. And kindly ensure to
complete the one-time BSAM Player Registration formalities before the start of your match.
2. Foul n Miss
Unlimited Foul n Miss rule is applicable (Qualifying & Main Draw). This means that the foul n
miss rule is applicable until the opponent is out of the game.
3. Snookers
Four snookers or more on the colour balls is considered as frame over – in the Qualifying Draw.
4. Final Decision
The Marker/Referee decision is final & binding on all players.
5. Late Penalty
Arriving late for a match has the following implications:
15 minutes late is 1 frame down
30 minutes late is 2 frames down
45 minutes late is considered as a walkover
It is advised to report at the venue 30 minutes prior to the scheduled match.
6. Dress Code
Baulkline T-shirt will be the official dress code for the tournament. However, formal pants or
khakis are allowed. Jeans, tracks shorts, bermudas, lungis and any other sort of lowers is not
allowed. Socks (no show included) must be worn at all times. Formal shoes are a must. Sports
shoes, sandals or chappals are not allowed. Any participant who does NOT adhere to the permitted
dress code will not be allowed to play and the match will be awarded to the opponent.
7. Practice Shots
Maximum 10 practice shots are allowed on the allocated table before the match.
8. Breaks during the match
No tea or cigarette breaks are allowed in between the frames of a said match.
9. No player can play his or her match under the influence of any intoxication. Chewing of
tobacco is strictly prohibited in the arena and especially while playing the matches.
10. The Arena is a silent zone; mobiles must be on silent mode at all times and talking on the
mobile inside the arena is not allowed.
11. The NSCI Arena Clock will be the official Time Keeper.
12. In the interest of the tournament, the Baulkline Tournament Committee reserves the right to
change the match timings, schedule & the draw.

Please Note:

1. Every player will need to provide his/her bank detail for wire transfer

2. Winning amount is subject to TDS

3. Prize Money will not be trasnferred to a third party account

4. Player must be prsent during the prize distribution to avoid forfiet

5.Money will be forfeited incase the player is absent during the prize distribution

6.Can take up to 10 days (from the final day) to credit the winnings in your account.

Prize money will be paid via bank transfer only. Amounts will be subject to TDS (if applicable). A player must provide his/her own bank details as we will not transfer amounts to some third-party accounts.

 

Draw and Schedule
Will be released by 26th Dec 2023.
No changes will be made once the Draw is released.
