Best of five frames up to pre-qtr
1st frame is 15 red snooker
2nd frame - 6Red snooker
3rd frame - doubles (alternate shot)
4th frame - 15 red snooker
5th frame - 6-red snooker
Qtr-finals and semi-finals - best of seven frames
1st frame - 15 red snooker
2nd frame - 6-red
3rd frame - alternate shots doubles
4th frame - 15 red
5th frame - doubles
6th frame - 6-red
7th frame - 15 red snooker
Finals - best of nine frames
1st frame - 15-red snooker
2nd frame - 6 red
3rd frame - alternate shot doubles
4th frame - 15-red
5th frame – alternate shot doubles
6th frame - 6 -red
7th frame - 15-red
8th frame – alternate shot doubles
9th frame - 15 red snooker
All rules of snooker apply except the foul and miss rule which will be restricted to 3 misses, after which
the player has an option to either claim free ball,
ask opponent to play again, and only for 6-red, can claim hand-ball and can place cue ball where he want
There will be a shot clock for 15 seconds per shot. If anyone exceeds the 15 seconds, a foul will be called and 4 points will be awarded to the opponent. There will be one extension on the 15 second limit allowed per frame, including the doubles frame
The doubles frame will be played on alternate shot basis
No player can play 2 consecutive singles frames, and the teams should decide their players by chits.
Handicapping for the players will be done as follows:
Category A : scratch (zero)
Category B: +15
Category C: +30
Category D: +40
E.G. If a team has 2 players with one player at zero and the other at 30, then they start at +15, for the doubles. For the 6-red frame, the handicaps will be at scratch, +8, +15, +20 (roughly 50% of the 15-red handicap)
All handicaps will be decided by the Tournament committee and no individual suggestions/complaints will be entertained.
Dress Code :: Collared T- Shirts and Jeans Allowed, Any Shoes Allowed.
If any team arrives 15 Minutes Late. They will have to award a Walkover.
