'HITMAN' JAGDALE STRIKES AGAIN WHILE STATE BILLIARDS GURU FINISHES OFF IN STYLE AS ECC BAPPACHEBUM RETAINS BILLIARD LEAGUE CROWN

    8TH jULY

Andrew Dyer matched the consistent Farhad Tengra stride for stride and break for break until in the end Farhad forged ahead winning by 46 points. However Chembur Gym Gladiators still enjoyed a handicap lead of 74 points. But then came yesterday's hero 'Hitman' Mahesh Jagdale who simply outplayed veteran Tushar Dighe with the score reading 200 - 66 leaving last man State Billiards Guru Arun Agrawal to score 140 to Vishal Madan's 200. The 10 times State Billiards Champion Arun Agrawal started with a bang making a beak of 99 which  threw Vishal off his feet and Arun thereafter finished the game 140 - 42.

VETERAN TUSHAR DIGHE STOPS  RONNIE'BOND' DARUWALA TO PAY THE WAY FOR CHEMBUR GYM 'GLADIATORS' TO ENTER FINALS.

At the halfway mark, Nishad gave his Bombay Gym teamates a scent of victory, but alas it was not to be, the Hitman fired in a break of 65 to put things beyond his opponent and romped home 200-128.

Yesterday's star, Ronnie 'Mr.Bond' Daruwalla had no answer to Tushars Dighe's steady play. Tushar outplayed Mr.Bond and hammered in a break of 47 to put the issue beyond doubt. Chembur Gym 'Gladiators'meet reigning champions ECC 'Bappachebum tomorrow in the final.

RONNIE FINISHES IN BOND STYLE AS HOSTS DPCG 'SILENT ASSASINS' MEET CHEMBUR GYM 'GLADIATORS' IN SEMI-FINAL

After both veteran players of the DPCG putting up a mediocre performance it was the Mr.Bond - Ronnie Daruwalla, who finished off the match in James Bond style, shooting away with his cue like a smoking gun, he did not allow his opponent to score a mere 111 points to his own 200.

'TIGER' KYANI & VISHAL MADAN'S HEROIC'S TAKE HOSTS DPCG 'SILENT ASSASINS' & CHEMBUR GYM 'GLADIATORS' INTO QUARTER-FINALS

Cyrus Kyani 'Tiger' as all his DPCG colleagues call him a name given to him by DPCG V.President, Faroukh Tamboli, showed glimpses of his yesteryear form when he got the better off Park Club 'Cavaliers' Sanjeev Bijlani, who had to score 150 points to Kyani's 200 in the concluding tie.

On table No.1 the formidable P.J.Hindu gym 'Purists' went down to the Chembur Gym 'Gladiators'. The purists kicked off very well with their first player International Devendra Joshi who easily got the better off Tushar Dighe of Chembur Gym. Siddarth Parikh P.J.Hindu Gym's other International player thrashed Andrew Dyer by 150 points leaving veteran and former India No.2 Kamal Tulshan to score 136 to state No.3 Vishal Madans 200. Kamal who was leading initially lost his bearings midway and Vishal made the most of his opponents lapses to win the match 200 - 108.
